“This year, we continued to work on the development of complex video surveillance integration platforms. Currently, we have integrated more than 8 thousand video cameras on one platform. Of course, when possible in combat conditions,” Klymenko wrote.
According to him, the plans will cover more than 50,000 currently installed, including more than 7,000 intellectuals.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the results of analysis of video footage from security cameras are used by law enforcement agencies to solve crimes, including war crimes.
The Minister said, “Creating a safe public environment is one of the priority areas of work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The development of a comprehensive video surveillance system is also of key importance in this process.” said.
As reported by Ukrinform, the acting general director of the utility company “Informatica” reported to KMDA the suspicion of unauthorized dissemination of information from video surveillance systems.
