Design and display: almost identical

Huawei Nova 12 Ultra

On an aesthetic level, the four models do not differ muchBut as we said, we need to talk about these in pairs. The Huawei Nova 12 Ultra and Nova 12 Pro have the same display with the same camera module on the back as well as the same dual punch-holes in the middle for the cameras.

They are actually the same size and what changes is the weight as well as the colours. The screens of both models are OLED with a diagonal of 6.76 inches and LTPO refresh from 1 to 120 Hz. They also have a resolution of 2,776 x 1,224 pixels and the same 2,160 Hz PWM.

If we go to Huawei Nova 12 and Nova 12 Lite, we are talking about the same screen again.: 6.7-inch OLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,412 x 1,084 pixel resolution. In this case, the front camera hole is simple and the design of the Nova 12 Lite is slightly different from its siblings due to the longer camera module.

It is a bit strange that it shares the same cameras with the Nova 12, as we will see later, but this is Huawei’s way of differentiating the two terminals.

Processor and battery: The new Kirin that determines the distance to the USA

Huawei Nova 12 Ultra

The most interesting point of this new Huawei is the processor. This is because the Huawei Nova 12 Lite is the only model that has details about it on the official specifications page. This includes the Snapdragon 778G 4G, a processor that has been around for a while but still offers good performance in everyday tasks.

It is not known which is the official processor of the other three models.but there is already a leak about the model they chose for Huawei Nova 12 Ultra and Nova 12 Pro.

This is the controversial model’s sibling, the Kirin 9000SL Kirin 9000S that turned the USA upside down It’s been the last few months and we know the frequency and the cores, although there is still no information about lithography.

Some images have appeared on Weibo that allow us to see the specifications of both processors and the differences between the Kirin 9000S, 9000SL and 8000, which is claimed to be the SoC of the Nova 12 Pro.

All four models feature Harmony OS 4 As a system, Nova 12 Ultra, Pro and Nova 12 have a 4,600 mAh battery with 100 W charging, while Nova 12 Lite has a 4,500 mAh battery with 66 W charging.

Cameras: 2x optical on the front of Ultra and Pro models

Huawei Nova 12 Ultra

And again we come to the cameras that we need to separate by couples. Huawei Nova 12 Ultra and Nova 12 Pro have dual front cameras It has a 60 megapixel wide angle and 8 megapixel 2x optical lens.

There’s an interesting configuration on the front, with the rear featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture lenses and an 8-megapixel wide-angle with macro function.

Nova 12 and Nova 12 Lite have only front camerafor the angle, 60-megapixel f/2.4 wide-angle and the rear dual 50-megapixel f/1.9 and 8-megapixel wide-angle, the same as its bigger brothers.
