It’s well known that Google has been working hard to make it the Google Pixel for quite some time now a design with great personality, a design clearly different from the design common in its market segment. And this is a move that we will see not only from Google (which, yes, seems to be advanced in this sense), Apple also intends to offer a significant evolutionary leap in Siri and the iPhone in 2024.

While these big changes are transcendental, there are also​​​​​​other smaller but more closely related to our daily lives that make our work easier, and Google works easily in this too. Of course, you might not have known that the Google smartphone has this feature, which can be activated from the alarm settings in the Clock app.

Well, until now when you enable this feature when you disable the alarm when the alarm goes off, the Google Pixel would show a tab with a summary of the current and next day’s weather, but now Google replaced this static information with a smooth animation which will show us some information of the day (obviously less than in the old format), with a much more visually pleasing design and therefore more accurately enter the eyes when we open them and start the day.

The younger ones haven’t experienced it, and others with more gray hair may not remember it, but there was a time when you were staying in a hotel and they asked you to be woken up at a certain time, they called you in which, in addition to notifying you of the time, they also gave you a quick note about the weather of the day. That Google has restored this format, which I personally find the most practical, fits right in category of small details that make a differenceand I think they are succeeding.
