Turkish attack aircraft Anka III made its first flight

The Turkish Anka III attack aircraft, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), made its first flight.

Anka III is the first Turkish tailless UAV with a turbofan engine. It has a “flying wing” design and can reach a maximum speed of 787 km/h. Cruising speed is 463 km/h. Flight autonomy 10 hours.

Anka III drone is designed to destroy ground targets, including suppression of air defense vehicles.

According to Ukrinform’s news, Turkey postponed the first flight of the KAAN fighter jet, which was planned to be held on December 27.
