On Friday, December 29, the American company SpaceX launched 23 more Starlink internet satellites into orbit.

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle, carrying 23 Starlink Internet satellites, was launched from Cape Canaveral Spaceport in Florida.
Falcon 9’s first stage returned to Earth approximately 8.5 minutes after launch. HE landed Lack of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean on an unmanned ship.
More than an hour later the company approved Placing satellites into a specific orbit.
This launch is currently the 98th for the company and the last in 2023. During the year, SpaceX conducted 91 Falcon 9 launches, five Falcon Heavy launches, and two Starship system launches.
Last year, SpaceX conducted 61 launches, including 60 Falcon 9 rockets and just one Falcon Heavy launch. There were 31 launches in 2021 and 26 in 2020, and all of them were Falcon 9 rockets.
Now Starlink, SpaceX’s mega-constellation of broadband Internet satellites, consists of more than 5,200 operational satellites.
