LG unveils a range of OLED TVs in 2024

Company LG LG has introduced its 2024 OLED TV lineup, including the M4 TV, as well as the latest versions of the standard OLED G4, C4 and B4 series, which will be unveiled at CES 2024 on January 9. Of course, LG has not officially confirmed the Price or launch date, but the media expects these new LG TVs to go on sale around March/April.
LG M4 Positioned as the flagship, this year a 65-inch version was released for the first time, supporting wireless video and audio transmission at 4K resolution at a frequency of 144 Hz (models from 65 to 97 inches are available).
The new TV is equipped with the latest α11 AI processor, which improves picture and sound quality. Compared to the previous generation, graphics performance has been increased by 70% and processing speed has been increased by 30%.
The delivery set includes a Zero Connect set-top box that can be placed separately from the TV. The set-top box replaces the TV’s input interface, enabling “over-the-air TV.” The set-top box is equipped with HDMI 2.1, USB, RF interfaces and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
In addition, the WOWCAST wireless function of the α11 AI processor also supports lossless transmission of Dolby Atmos signals to compatible LG speakers, eliminating the need for cables for audio connection.
Models of this series support AI Sound Pro audio technology, have received ClearMR certification of the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), compatible with built-in surround virtual sound 11.1.2, Nvidia G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync.
LG G4 It is also equipped with the α11 AI processor, supports 144Hz refresh rate, and offers the same WOWCAST wireless audio functionality. Additionally, the LG G4 uses the Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology introduced in the previous generation model.
LG C4 It is positioned as a mid-range OLED TV equipped with the α9 AI processor, which supports 144Hz refresh rate and promises higher brightness than the C3.
LG B4 LG 2024 is the entry-level model among OLED TVs, has an AI 8 processor, has four HDMI 2.1 interfaces and for the first time has a 48-inch version.
