The launch of the Galaxy S24 will take place on January 17 in a new “Unboxed” event, as confirmed by Samsung, and will, as usual, take place at 19:00 (Spanish time, 10:00 Pacific). We still don’t have official details, but thanks to the leaks that have surfaced, we know Generative artificial intelligence will be implemented in three new Samsung terminals. Thanks to this technology, the Galaxy S24 will offer advanced artificial intelligence features such as image and text generation, as well as other interesting features such as viewing, enhancing and editing images and translating them into different languages.

Three things we can expect at the Galaxy S24 launch

In addition to the great role that AI will have, we hope that Samsung to launch the Galaxy S24 at the same price than the current generation. This makes sense as it would put this new generation in a more competitive position against the iPhone 15, which are the South Korean company’s big rivals after all.

We also hope that Samsung will focus the presentation event on the improvements introduced at the hardware level, among which they will undoubtedly stand out jump to the new SoC Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen3. The former will be used in the Galaxy S24 sold internationally, while the latter will be present in the mainstream Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the Galaxy S24 sold in the United States.
