The city of Las Vegas is preparing for the opening of CES 2024, the largest and most important consumer electronics and technology trade show on the planetwhich will be celebrated this year from January 9 to 12 with the incentive of a physical presence renewed in 2023. As every year, you will have very extensive coverage on MC, which we have already started with previous announcements and which you can see in this special label.

Consumer Technology Association of America and trade show organizer, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), hopes to continue to rebuild the enormous numbers achieved in the years before the COVID pandemic and for this edition of more than 4,000 exhibitors, 150 countries represented, 130,000 visitors311 Fortune 500 companies represented and more than 1,200 startups will pass through Eureka Park, one of the event venues that includes others such as the Convention Center and the World Trade Center.

What we expect from CES 2024

Although there will be a number of conferences, workshops or special activities, presentation and exhibition of a technological product will continue to be a strong point of the fair. CTA refers to up to 41 product categories, from computers to wearables, including mobile phones; robotics; audio and video; networks and 5G; 3D printing; smart homes; automotive, wireless devices and services or virtual/augmented reality technologies.

Of course, anything that comes from artificial intelligence will be the protagonist, z Intel CEO Kickoff ConferencePatrick P. Gelsinger, who will speak about «advances in chip and software development to achieve more affordable AI». Other major semiconductor manufacturers will follow suit, with Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon speaking about “user interaction with devices in the age of AI”, and AMD leadership with reference to “Advances in Infrastructure to Support AI”.

For the rest, and except for Apple, which does not directly participate in these major fairs, all the big names in tech will be in Las Vegas. We’ve already seen advances from companies like Lenovo, ASUS, MSI, Corsair or LGand trailers for new releases from all major PC, component or mobile devices.

Among the most anticipated announcements, as the subsequent presentation of a large number of products depends on them, we highlight the Raptor Lake Refresh processors for desktop computers. Intel; new generation APU Ryzen 8000G etc; new graphics RTX 40 SUPER NVIDIA and AMD’s new Radeon RX.

CES is also usually the framework for the presentation of the next generation of screens and TVs we will see LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL, Philips and others, as well as monitors AOC, iiyama, LG, Samsung and all manufacturers. There will also be new developments in the field of electronic wearables, accessories, peripherals and furniture with Gaming as the protagonist. We will also see some mobiles and tablets, although the presentations will be limited to February’s MWC in Barcelona.
