Ubisoft confirmed the requirements minimum, recommended and optimal from Prince of Persia The Lost Crown for PC, a game that saves one of the most beloved franchises in the history of video games, even if it chooses a different approach and gameplay than we have seen in previous installments, and is close to the original classic.

It’s not a revolution on a technical level, but it is excellent art direction and very careful character and level design, which makes everything look great in the end without having to use a state-of-the-art graphics engine. As you might imagine, this is also evident in the requirements, which are very affordable, as we will see below.

Requirements for Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

Minimum: normal quality at 1080p and 60 FPS

• Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor (4 cores and 4 threads).
• GeForce GTX 950 or Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card with 4 GB of graphics memory.
• 8 GB RAM in two channels.
• DirectX 11.
• 30 GB free space.
• Windows 10 64-bit or higher.

There is a serious error in the requirements because the Radeon RX 5500 Radeon RX 560.

Recommended: high quality at 1440p and 60 FPS

• Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor (4 cores and 8 threads).
• GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card with 4 GB of graphics memory.
• 8 GB RAM in two channels.
• DirectX 11.
• 30 GB free space.
• Windows 10 64-bit or higher.

In this case we have two errors. The first is in processor equivalence, as the Intel Core i7-6700 has the closest alternative to Ryzen 5 2500X, and the second on the graphics card, since the GeForce GTX 960 is equivalent to a Radeon R9 380.

Optimal: ultra quality in 2160p and 60 FPS

• GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card with 4 GB of graphics memory.

There is only one flaw in the CPU equivalence here, because as I told you in the previous point, the Intel Core i7-6700 is equivalent to the Ryzen 5 2500X, which has 4 cores and 8 threads and similar IPC. The Ryzen 5 1600 would be similar because it has 6 cores and 12 threadseven though its CPI is lower.

The release of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown will take place on January 18th and is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. According to its developers will run at 60 FPS in the previous generation of consoles already 120 FPS in the current generation.
