Dell UltraSharp 40 will be the pioneer of the update of the series of monitors that the American manufacturer presented for CES 2024. As the biggest novelty, it has the so-called Five star comfort rating (visual) issued by TUV Rheinland specialist.

The monitor market has a huge offer for all tastes, needs and budgets. Dell is well-regarded in the professional market for its UltraSharp line, and the two newly introduced models are a good example.

The Dell UltraSharp 40 has a curved panel 40 inches native resolution diagonal 5K (5120 x 2160 pixels). It has a refresh rate 120 Hz, which is not bad at all for its impressive resolution. Its connectivity is also remarkable thanks to Thunderbolt 4, which offers the convenience of a single cable and with a power of up to 140 W.

It also supports a high-speed 2.5 Gbps wired Ethernet connection via RJ45 along with HDMI 2.1 FRL (Fixed Rate Link) and DisplayPort 1.4 for smooth image transmission, minimizing any loss of visual quality.

His strength comes from his degree of comfort and visual care. They have an ambient light sensor that changes the brightness and color temperature of the screen depending on the light conditions of the room where we use it. It features an advanced LED backlight that reduces blue light emissions from a typical 50 percent to less than 35 percent, achieving the highest TUV Rheinland certification.

Dell introduced a second smaller model, but with the same comfort of use and eye care features. It is about UltraSharp 34, with a 34-inch screen and a native panoramic resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels. It also supports Thunderbolt 4, but with a power of up to 90 W.

The new monitors will be available from February 27. The Dell UltraSharp 40 will come at a price 2399 dollarswhile the UltraSharp 34 will stand 1019 dollars. They are not an economic scale, but a professional market where they will know how to value their abilities.
