Documents declassified this Wednesday relate to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein They do not mention the possible sexual preferences of British physicist Stephen Hawking. as stated in numerous social media posts.

Very viral posts on platforms such as Jeffrey Epstein is accused of human trafficking and sexual abuse of minors.

These documents are part of a defamation lawsuit filed in 2015 Virginia Giuffre, victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring against his former lover and partner Ghislaine Maxwell.

DATA: The truth is that this statement is not true, because the photo published on social networks is an ironic montage, and there is no trace of it in the 40 documents released this Wednesday.

An advanced search on X reveals that the false testimony was originally posted by a social media user named ““Drefanzor Memes” shortly after the New York Department of Justice declassified this first batch of about 1,000 pages.

The Internet user himself, who usually publishes ironic and humorous content, clarified in the description of the frame that this is a meme, and once again emphasized this in various publications, but this replicated virally as if it were a real fragment.

No trace of this statement

On the other hand, none of the declassified documents contain testimony revealing Stephen Hawking’s sexual preferences, although They mention the physicist twice.

The first, in a 2015 email Epstein sent to Ghislaine Maxwell, which reads verbatim: “You can give a reward to any of Virginia’s friends and relatives who come forward and help prove her allegations are false.”

And he continues: “The most powerful is the Clinton dinner and the new version in the Virgin Islands, in which Stephen Hawking (sic) participated in a minor orgy.”

The second mention comes from a court order that requested photographs and videos of various figures, such as Epstein himself or former US President Bill Clinton.

In any case, mentioned in the documents does not imply any type of guilt in the plotbecause it contains everything from emails to statements from victims or witnesses.

In 2015, British media published two photographs showing that Hawking visited the financier’s island in 2006. and that he attended a dinner invited by other scientists, but no further information emerged about his activities on the island.

In short, in the declassified documents about Epstein there is no trace of testimony from a witness in the case about Hawking’s sexual addictions. And the catch that spreads in social networks are a satirical montage.
