Online meetings have become part of everyday life for many employees since 2020. Whether the camera should be on or not remains a difficult dilemma for many. For some it is a given that the camera is always on, while others prefer not to show themselves. Research from Harvard Business Review has shown that whether or not the camera is on has a greater impact on employees’ psychological distress than the number of online meetings crammed into a workday.
ITdaily wants to find out how IT professionals deal with this. Do you turn on your camera immediately when you join an online meeting, or do you only do so when the circumstances of the meeting allow it? You can participate in the survey by completing the survey below.
