As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for the Development of Innovation, Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.

“D-21-11 is a universal Ukrainian robot created by members of the Brave1 defense cluster. The machine is equipped with an automatic turret and can perform combat missions. For example, it can conduct reconnaissance, storm or defensive positions,” he wrote.

Fedorov noted that the robot can also be used to safely deliver ammunition or supplies for fighters to hot spots. The combat part is completely removable.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the combat part of the D-11 robot has already passed successful tests and received positive feedback from the military. Developers plan to integrate NATO-type weapons into the robot and strengthen its resistance to enemy anti-aircraft missiles. The team is currently working on scaling production.

As reported by Ukrinform, Brave1 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Digital, the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Economy. Its aim is to encourage and support the development of companies working in the field of defense technologies.

The cluster offers organizational and expert development support, as well as access to accelerators and incubators. It is about systematic work on improving developments, increasing knowledge on business scaling, creating value for investors, and mentoring. Developers will also have access to an R&D resource center that will assist with necessary components, testing and equipment.
