Today, as part of its product launch announcements at CES 2024, Samsung announced that it will allow third-party gaming accessory manufacturers to create officially licensed products that will work with this Gaming Hub:

“Starting this year, gamers will see the ‘Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub’ badge, which indicates that the product has been tested for compatibility, quality, performance, safety and security on Samsung devices. Accessories with this badge are guaranteed the best gaming streaming experience “possible regardless of compatible Samsung devices that choose the player”.

The first officially licensed product of its kind for Samsung Gaming Hub monitors and TVs will come from well-known controller manufacturer PDP. The Replay Wireless Controller not only allows you to play games on the Gaming Hub, but can also act as a remote control for your TV or monitor, allowing functions to mute and control the sound, in addition to turning the TV on and off. .

There is also a dedicated button at the top of the controller for direct access to the platform. The controller is wireless and has a battery life of up to 40 hours on a single charge. It’s available for pre-order now for $49 and should ship later this month. It is certain that the major peripheral manufacturers will produce similar drivers.

Samsung Gaming Hub preferentially works with the service Xbox Cloud Gaming, though it’s also compatible with Amazon Luna and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Samsung has previously offered Gaming Hub TVs as a convenient way to play triple-A titles like Starfield without a PC or console. It will now offer more options for players.
