The Hubble Space Telescope recorded weather changes for three years on the massive scale of Jupiter, where temperatures reached over two thousand degrees Celsius.

This was reported by NASA, according to Ukrinform’s report.

The planet named WASP-121 b is located 880 light-years away from Earth.

Observations have revealed that hurricanes and storms constantly wreak havoc on the exoplanet, churning up its atmosphere. As with our planet’s atmosphere, temperature differences cause hurricanes and storms to constantly appear and disappear in WASP-121b.

It is noted that the research will help to better understand how planets that are constantly heated by their stars come into existence.

WASP-121b orbits its star at a distance 40 times smaller than the distance from Earth to the Sun. In addition, the planet is always turned on one side towards its star, which heats up to 2,330 degrees Celsius. The telescope found that the temperature on the night side of the planet reached 1200-1500 degrees due to the movement of gases.
