Iran’s judiciary announced this Sunday the arrest of all participants in the suicide attack, which killed 91 people. last Wednesday in the city of Kerman, which is claimed by the jihadist group Islamic State (IS).
“32 people have been arrested in connection with the Kerman crime. and they are being interrogated,” said the prosecutor of the city where the attack took place, Mehdi Bakhshi, the official IRNA news agency reported.
Bakhshi assured that the 32 detainees are “all involved” in the double suicide bombing committed near the grave of Qassem Soleimani, Iranian general who led the Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force until his death in 2020 in a US airstrike in Iraq.

Until now, Iranian authorities have reported this. arrest of 11 people in connection with the attack and it turned out that one of the suicide bombers came from Tajikistan, and the identity of the second has not yet been confirmed.
The Kerman prosecutor further indicated that more “16 bombs discovered in Kerman province” in recent days they are “more powerful than those two suicides on Wednesday.”
