Sanctions against the Russian Federation have the effect of reducing the flow of microelectronics and other valuable components to the aggressor country.
Vladyslav Vlasyuk, advisor to the head of the OP, secretary of the Yermak-Makfaul international sanctions group, stated this on the air of the Ukrinform “Leshchenko asks” program.
“Sanctions have the effect of reducing the amount of microelectronics and other valuable components coming into Russia. Microelectronics is something that Russia cannot practically produce, and if it can, it is extremely scarce and of low quality. At the same time, missiles, drones and other equipment are high-quality equipment and requires electronics. So this is a critical story,” Vlasyuk emphasized.
He said that the missiles launched by Russia over Ukraine were analyzed in detail and the origin of the relevant components was tracked. The expert stated that from now on, this information is forwarded to the relevant authorities, especially the partner countries.
