The Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites was launched from the Cape Canaveral spaceport in Florida at 00:35 Kiev time.
The first stage of the Falcon 9 returned to Earth approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff and landed aboard the unmanned spacecraft “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. Meanwhile, the upper portion of the launch vehicle continued to carry the 23 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, where they were deployed approximately 65.5 minutes after launch.
This was SpaceX’s 16th launch, according to the mission description.
