Samsung showcased three transparent micro LED displays with different designs. Two of them had tinted glass that hid objects behind the screen, while the third was transparent like regular glass and had a frameless design. All screens are about a centimeter thick, and the image on them almost resembles a hologram suspended in the air.

According to a Samsung representative, transparent MicroLED displays have higher brightness than transparent OLED panels, so they are less affected by ambient light.

So far, the company hasn’t said how much such displays might cost or when the technology will appear on retail devices.

As reported by Ukrinform Samsung Electronics offered gamers a trio of new monitors consisting of the Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey OLED G6 and the updated Odyssey OLED G9.
