South Korean company Samsung Electronics presented a new version of its home robot companion with artificial intelligence Ballie at the CES 2024 exhibition in Las Vegas.
This is stated in the company’s press release, as reported by Ukrinform.
Ballie is a personal home assistant that autonomously navigates around the house and performs various tasks.
Ballie can assist users in many situations by connecting and controlling home appliances. At the same time, it will be able to provide smarter and more personalized services by constantly examining users’ behavior and habits.
In particular, Ballie can send videos of pets or loved ones to users’ devices when they are away from home.
The robot can set the mood for any home event.
“From projecting training videos at the optimal size on the wall or floor to playing music and answering phone calls – Ballie makes life at home more productive and enjoyable,” the company promises.
The first model of the robot was presented at the CES 2020 fair, and since then Ballie has received new functions that will help users “manage their lives intelligently”.
As Ukrinform reported, Samsung showcased the world’s first transparent MicroLED display at the CES show.
