Hooded men with guns seize a TV channel in Ecuador
On Tuesday, hooded gunmen entered the TC television channel in the southwestern Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil and seized its staff during a live broadcast.
Live footage shows several hooded men with guns holding the canal workers on the ground and demanding that they ask the police to leave the area.
The pictures show armed men carrying machine guns and explosive cartridges and beating workers.
Ecuavisa notes that civilians entered the TC Televisión channel at 14:18, and at 14:30 shots and screams were heard.
One worker had a stick of dynamite stuffed into his jacket.
