Samsung introduced its thin and wireless monitor The Link

Samsung’s CES 2024 lineup was full of interesting new products, ranging from practical to futuristic. There was the “Music Frame”, a speaker that looked like a picture frame or even see-through TVs. They also introduced the monitor called “The Link”, which stands out with its minimalist design and interesting wireless connection.

You can connect “The Link’s” wirelessly

The Link has a slim profile that Samsung claims is the thinnest among 32-inch 4K LED monitors. The sophistication extends to the back, which is a flat panel with just three main ports (HDMI, power and USB-C). This clean aesthetic eliminates the usual cable clutter.

Instead of a traditional stand, The Link uses a unique base that mirrors the width of the monitor. This T-shaped metal structure creates a sturdy yet unobtrusive base, further emphasizing the minimal look.

The real power of Link is its wireless connectivity potential. Samsung claims that it can be daisy-chained wirelessly to other Links, creating a multi-monitor setup without a single cable. Although details are scarce, reports point to Pogo pins being used for this wireless connection. This opens up possibilities for wireless large workspaces or immersive gaming environments.

Besides its looks, The Link has built-in speakers and hidden control panels. However, while specific details such as resolution, refresh rate and additional features are not disclosed, Samsung promises more information in the near future. This also means we expect to find out when Samsung will launch The Link and how much it will cost. We will continue to share any new developments with you.
