Ukraine has developed a new EFP-S ammunition for FPV drones that can penetrate armored vehicles. It is used against light armored vehicles (self-propelled guns, armored personnel carriers, armored personnel carriers) protected by anti-cumulative and anti-drone means. The 1 kg product belongs to the Shock Wave Dynamics (SWD) ammunition family.

The combat part of the EFP-S ammunition has a “shock core”, a powerful anti-armor effect and long-range remote damage. The weight of the impressive element is 165 grams. The speed of the striking element reaches 1800 m/s. The effective damage radius is 8 meters.

The warhead can be equipped with the explosive C4 (420 g) or PVV-5a (390 g), consisting of 85% hexane.

EFP-S ammunition consists of:

  • removable part of the case;
  • screws for fastening the removable part;
  • cover for fixing the detonator;
  • adapter for attaching to the drone frame;
  • view to control the track camera;
  • Rubber lining.

The ammunition design is attached to the FPV drone using nylon clamps. Manufacturers stated that for effective operation it is necessary to ensure remote detonation of EFP-S ammunition and calibration of the route camera before defeat.
