There are some changes coming to the popular voice assistant Google Assistant. In a recent blog post, Google announced that it will remove 17 features from the Assistant as of January 26. The company says this will improve the “quality and reliability” of the service, which will “make Assistant easier to use across devices.”

Starting January 26, if you try to use any of the 17 features that are being removed, you will receive a notification that those features will no longer be available. According to reports, most of these features will be completely removed by February 26 9to5Google.

Here is the full list of what has been removed:

• Voice control of audiobooks on Google Play Books is no longer available. You can still stream them from your mobile phone.
• No more managing cookbooks with Google Assistant; recipes, video tutorials and step-by-step guides are no longer available. But fear not; You can still use Google Assistant to find recipes online and on YouTube.
• You no longer need to set multimedia, music or radio alarms on Google Assistant devices. You can create a custom schedule or use a standard alarm clock instead.
• Checking the stopwatch on smart displays and speakers will be a thing of the past. But don’t worry as you can still set timers and alarms.
• You won’t be able to make voice calls to your device or broadcast to your Google Family Group. With all of these, you can stream to devices in your home.
• Sending emails, videos or voice messages using voice will no longer be available. But you can still make calls and send text messages.
• You no longer need to ask for contact information. You can still call them.
• Google Assistant no longer needs to use the app launcher in Google Maps for messages and calls. However, you can use voice control in Google Maps in the same way.
• Voice activity control will be disabled for Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 devices. Instead, you will need to use the buttons on your device to control the activity. Pixel watches still support voice activity control.
• Calls made through speakers and smart displays won’t show caller ID unless you’re using Duo.
• Voice verification of personal travel routes is available. However, you can still get information about flight status.
• Voice actions such as sending payments, making reservations, or sharing on social networks will no longer be supported. But you can ask Assistant to open installed apps.

However, not all of these are subtractions. Google is also developing the Google app that will now trigger call responses when you tap the microphone icon. However, the microphone icon will no longer control smart home devices or send messages. This includes the Pixel Search bar, which now launches voice search instead of Assistant.
