The National Electoral Institute (INE) is planning three debates between presidential candidates Claudia Sheinbaum and Xochitl Galvez, as well as Jorge Alvarez.
The document, which is in the process of approval, proposes three headquarters in Mexico City.
The first will take place at the INE central offices on April 7th.
The second at Churubusco Studios on April 28 and the third at the Cultural Center of the University of Tlatelolco on May 19.
The document in progress has already been approved by the INE Commission and now only requires a vote in the General Council to begin its implementation.
The first meeting will be based on citizen questions received through social media.
The second debate will feature questions previously recorded in various parts of the country, and candidates will be asked to respond to them.
The final meeting will be a head-to-head debate with cross-questions between Sheinbaum, Galvez and Alvarez.
