Until now, the Red Cross has not had access to the hostages to check their health and conditions of detention, which has drawn sharp criticism from the families and the Israeli government; although Hamas claims that security conditions for this are not guaranteed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the agreement, thanked for the help and clarified that medicines were purchased by France“according to a list compiled in Israel taking into account the medical needs of the hostages.”

Abu Marzouk assured that in this case, Israeli authorities would not check the cargo, as they have done so far with all humanitarian aid trucks entering the strip, amid fears that Hamas could use them to smuggle weapons.
