Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra phones equipped with artificial intelligence tools based on Google’s Gemini technology at the Unpacked conference held in San Jose

It is stated that smartphones can translate phone calls in real time, decipher voice messages, summarize articles on the internet, and use generative artificial intelligence to fill in parts of photos. The phones’ cameras will also have AI functionality and will be equipped with sensors with tools to improve the clarity of photos.
Users will be able to switch between two options: Gemini Nano, which runs on the phone itself, and the more powerful Pro version, which uses cloud computing.
Google also introduced the “Circle to Call” function that will be available on new smartphones. It allows users to search for anything on the phone screen without switching applications. Users of Google’s Android operating system will be able to type or circle an image, text or video in the app they are in, such as YouTube or TikTok, to learn more about the object. The feature will be available worldwide on January 31 on the new Galaxy S24 as well as Google’s own Pixel 8 smartphones.
The devices also have thinner bezels and brighter screens. Starting at $1,299, the S24 Ultra smartphone will have a new titanium frame compatible with iPhone 15 Pro models. The $799 S24 and $999 S24+ are made of aluminum and feature slightly larger screens than their predecessors. The S24 Ultra model has 1 terabyte of memory, and the S24+ model has 512 gigabytes of memory. The S24 model has 256 GB of memory. The S24+ and S24 Ultra have 12GB of memory used for short-term data storage.
The new Galaxy phones will go on sale January 31, and pre-orders started on Wednesday.
