Ukrainian engineers continue to produce attack unmanned aerial vehicles needed by the army at the front. They developed and demonstrated a new jet-powered kamikaze drone. The new drone is designed according to the “Duck” aerodynamic scheme with a front horizontal wing. There is a power plant with a jet engine in the stern.
The kamikaze drone has a straight wing with Herner-type tip wings; this provides additional lift and helps eliminate “Dutch roll” due to poor heading stability.
To take off, the drone needs a special car that crashes during the climb and remains on the runway.
The company now has the capacity to produce up to 100 units per month. However, this number is planned to be increased to 500 in the future.
