Dutch certification body for mobile devices, Telefication, said that the HTC 2QBK200 phone is ready for release. The presentation should be made soon.
Telefication did not share details about the innovation’s features, but it was announced in March that HTC plans to launch its first flagship phone after a long hiatus running Android operating system. This information was confirmed by Charles Huang, CEO of HTC Vive Asia-Pacific. True, it was then promised to launch a smartphone in April, but plans have changed.
The new flagship HTC will be the first since the HTC U12+, which was released in 2018. HTC’s future flagship will focus on augmented and virtual reality applications and will support deep integration with HTC’s own open source metacospace platform called Viveverse.
It’s worth adding that HTC sold most of its smartphone business to Google in 2018 and has since launched only budget smartphones and mid-range phones in some markets. Details of the new flagship are expected to emerge in the coming days or weeks. Source
