The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has reconnected with the Ingenuity helicopter.

“We reestablished contact with the Mars helicopter by commanding the Perseverance rover to conduct extended listening sessions to obtain a signal from Ingenuity,” the post said.
It was stated that the NASA team is currently examining the data from Ingenuity to understand what happened.
According to Ukrinform, NASA announced that contact with the helicopter was lost at the end of its 72nd flight to Mars on January 18.
The Ingenuity helicopter was delivered to the Red Planet aboard NASA’s Perseverance rover on February 18, 2021. Ingenuity made its first flight on April 19. Helicopter worth $85 million. It was the first aircraft launched to another planet.
