According to the first information obtained, the Russians, who started testing the new S-70 Myslyvets unmanned aerial vehicle, were detected at Akhtubinsk airport in the Astrakhan region. The picture shows the outline of the aircraft, which resembles the S-70 drone shape, designed according to the “flying wing” scheme.

It is known that Russia has three advanced aircraft – they were adopted in 2023. The first test flight of the S-70 took place in 2019.

When developing the drone, designers used the “flying wing” scheme. It has a wingspan of about 20 m and is equipped with the AL-41F dual-circuit engine, which was installed on the Su-35 multirole fighter and the first versions of the Su-57 new generation fighter.

The take-off weight of the aircraft is approximately 25 tons, the flight range is expected to be 5,000 km, and the flight altitude is expected to be 18 km. At the same time, the S-70 can carry up to 2.8 tons of weapons. It is reported that the flight speed of the device can reach 1,400 km/h.

S-70 “Fighter” can operate together with Su-57 fighter jets, using air-to-ground and air-to-air defeat means. The Su-57 pilot will be able to control Myslyvets heavy attack drones from the cockpit, which will be able to engage air and ground targets in “network-centric interaction” with the new special two-seat version of the Su-57.

The S-70 is a typical drone reminiscent of the American B-2 Spirit bomber. Its design provides equipment according to a modular scheme, which will allow changing the load depending on the nature of combat application.
