According to the Minor Planet Center (MPC), the object with a diameter of approximately 1 meter was discovered by Hungarian astronomer Krysztian Sarnecki a few hours before it entered the atmosphere.
The “fireball” in the night sky was also visible in the area between Leipzig, Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic.
