The rabbit’s neighbors are the constellations Canis Major and Orion.
The constellation Rabbit is one of the 88 constellations officially recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU).
All 88 official constellations are far from the only constellations humankind has ever identified.
People have been studying and naming stars for a very long time, and different cultures have their own constellations.
IAU constellations are based in Europe and most are taken from the Ptolemaic constellation catalogue.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Hubble space telescope took a photo of the relatively small galaxy UGC 5189A located in the constellation Leo.
