Google is trying to use artificial intelligence in its products and services. Since the launch of Gemini, the search giant has been actively implementing AI features into compatible products, including Chrome, Android, and others. In addition to various UI and performance-based updates, Google is rolling out several new productive AI features for Chrome users. Google Chrome introduces three experimental AI features in its latest version (M121). Mac and Windows users in the US can access these features.

Generative AI features in Chrome

AI tab groups

In addition to improving the web browsing experience, the new update also improves the browser’s artificial intelligence capability. The first feature, Tab Organizer, automatically suggests and creates tab groups based on open tabs, thus optimizing your browsing experience. This feature can come in handy if you’re shopping for a new smartphone and have multiple tabs open while doing so. This will help you group all the search-related tabs on your smartphone into one tab group. There have been no major changes to the Tab Groups feature since its launch last year. The new generative AI features seem to take the existing tab group feature to a new level.

Special artificial intelligence topics

The second feature allows users to create their own AI-powered themes using the text-to-image distribution model. Google is working hard to improve Chrome’s AI, from background images to custom themes. You can get the same thing in the US by going to: In the “Customize Chrome” sidebar, click “Change theme” and then click “Render with AI.” Users can add additional details, such as animation style, and choose between different scene moods, such as serenity. Users can also use uploaded photos to create a new theme.

help me write

Finally, AI-powered writing aid Help Me Write helps users draft content online with suggested text. It is planned to launch next month. Users can right-click a text box or box on any site and select “Help me write.” This will be very useful in providing recommended text and making tasks such as leaving a review, reply or request more optimized and user-friendly.

These experiments aim to improve the efficiency of web browsing while preserving personalization. Next year, AI and ML integration is expected to bring more improvements to Chrome, including the new Gemini AI model. New generative AI features not only improve the functionality of the Chrome browser, but also enhance its customization options.

To enable these features, users need to go to Settings after signing in and navigate to the Experimental AI page.
