Starting today, you can configure a private cloud with Nvidia DGX SuperPOD systems through Equinix. This allows companies to experiment with generative AI.

Everyone wants Nvidia GPUs, leading to waiting lists of up to a year. Not to mention the inflated prices. For those looking for a solution today: Equinix and Nvidia are joining forces.

Starting today, you can purchase a fully managed AI supercomputing service from Equinix that enables your business to deploy your own AI infrastructure close to your data. The service consists of Nvidia DGX systems coupled with Nvidia network devices (via InfiniBand) and an Enterprise AI software platform.

Enterprise AI consists of pre-trained models, optimized frameworks, and accelerated data science software libraries, such as the Nvidia NeMo framework for building LLMs, Nvidia Rapids for data science, Nvidia Clara for healthcare, and TensorRT, an LLM for optimizing the performance of large language models.

Working with Equinix also means that they help to implement everything correctly and safely. They also offer post-rollout support, all at an enterprise level.

The solution is not new. In March last year, Nvidia launched its own DGX cloud solution through various providers. The new collaboration with Equinix aims to better support organizations so that their infrastructure can scale with the number of AI projects to power the gigantic language models.

Today, various organizations from the pharmaceutical, financial services, software and automotive sectors have already tried out the Equinix Nvidia tandem. According to the announcement, this has resulted in several projects, including accelerating the availability of medicines, developing AI assistants for customer service and building virtual assistants to increase productivity.
