According to interlocutors, Apple was initially planning to release an electric autonomous car, but the company is now working on an electric car with more limited functions.
Given the changes, the company plans to launch its first car before 2028; this is two years later than a recent estimate.
Apple has been working on the development of its first car since 2014. During this time, the project changed several managers under the code names Titan and T172.
Apple hopes the launch of its car will help it continue sales growth.
As Ukrinform reported, Apple had previously announced plans to launch an unmanned electric car in 2025. The presentation was later postponed to 2026.
