An application has been launched in the Netherlands that turns the phone into a handheld translator and helps to communicate in Ukrainian.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, the app is called pryvit and is available in three languages - Ukrainian, Dutch and English.
After choosing the languages, the phone screen is split in two. By clicking on the microphone, you can record Dutch audio and get Ukrainian translation in a few seconds.
The Dutch company \AppMachine, which developed the app, said it was “hard to help people when you can’t communicate.”
As Ukrinform reports, the Netherlands has created an online information platform ConnectUkraine.nl that provides information to Ukrainian refugees about sports and cultural events.
The platform was developed by Cultuur- & Sportsstimülering Nederland (CSN).
On February 24, the Russian Federation launched a new phase of the war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. Russian invaders are bombing peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine, torturing and killing civilians.
