NVIDIA yesterday confirmed an important new feature in GeForce Now for Android device users, support for 1440p resolution and up to 120 frames per second, a configuration that is available to users who subscribe to the Ultimate plan. Higher resolution means higher image quality, so this is an important innovation.
We also have ten new games coming to GeForce Now that expand the catalog of this cloud gaming service that today more than 1800 games in total. These are the new titles arriving in the last stretch of January:
- Stargate: Timekeepers (new release on Steam, January 23rd)
- Enshrouded (new release on Steam, January 24)
- Firefighting Simulator – The Squad (Steam)
- Metal: Hellsinger (Xbox, available on Microsoft Store)
- Road 96: Mile 0 (Xbox, available on Microsoft Store)
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (Steam)
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun – Aiko’s Choice (Steam)
- Solasta: Crown of the Magister (Steam)
- Tails Noir (Xbox, available on Microsoft Store)
- Volatile Life (Steam)

GeForce Now is available in two modes, priority and “ultimate”. The first allows us to play 1080p with up to 60 FPS, activate RTX technologies and enjoy sessions of up to six hours of continuous gaming. Its price is 10.99 euros per month or 54.99 euros for six months.
The “ultimate” mode allows us to access the platform with GeForce RTX 4080, activate RTX technologies, play up to 4K and 120 FPS and enjoy gaming sessions for up to 8 hours continuously. The price of this plan is 21.99 euros per month or 109 euros for six months.
We don’t need to have a very powerful computer to access this service, because all the hard work ends up happening on NVIDIA’s servers. If your computer doesn’t meet the requirements to run the latest games with GeForce Now, you don’t have to worry, you only need to meet the minimum requirements to run the client and the minimum internet connection speeds that are 15 Mbps at the lowest level (720p) and 45 Mbps in 4K mode.
