Last month marked three years since the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 (yes, three years, so time flies), three years in which CD Projekt Red’s title grabbed a huge amount of headlines. links that now chronologically show us the spectacular development that the title of the creators of the sensational saga The Witcher has experienced, which was their main contribution to undertake such a complicated and ambitious project as CP2077.

As you may remember, his debut was simply pitiable. The game arrived on the market still very green, with quite a few absences compared to what they promised us, lacking the most basic optimizations and, in addition, with versions for the last generation of consoles that were shameful. One of the worst starts in history we’ve had up to that point, although both 2022 and 2023 raised the bar a lot in that unfortunate sense.

With those beginnings, one would expect its history to be short and disastrous, but fortunately CD Projekt Red took a difficult but correct path, that is, to fix the game, to turn it into, if not everything they promised, then at least a title worthy of the expectations that they have nurtured for years. And so, step by step, but steadily, Cyberpunk 2077 followed its redemption arc to become what it is today.
