Epos is launching the Impact 700 and Impact 800: these are two new headsets in the Impact series that are aimed at users in call centers and in the office.

Epos introduces the Impact 700 and the Impact 800. They join the previously introduced Impact 1000 and Impact 5000 in the Impact range. Both new headsets are wired. According to Epos, the Impact 700 is specifically designed for professionals in contact centers. The headphones should be comfortable and have three microphones on board. The device will be available from April at a recommended retail price of 149 euros.

Despite the higher type number, the Epos Impact 800 is cheaper with a starting price of 125 euros including VAT. These headphones will appeal primarily to office workers. These headphones have active noise cancellation on board, the Epos Impact 700 does not. Both new headphones are optionally available with Microsoft Teams certification.

BrainAdapt

Epic screens for all devices in the series BrainAdapt. This is a marketing term that refers to noise cancellation, comfort and intelligibility. Of course, this also includes a bit of AI. For noise cancellation, the headphones constantly scan the room to suppress disturbing noises. However, the difference to ANC in other headphones doesn’t seem that earth-shattering to us on paper.
