“We will introduce ChatGPT in all cars and small commercial vehicles, including the new e-3008 model,” said Peugeot product planning director Jerome Micheron.
The automaker will launch a pilot version of its ChatGPT artificial intelligence service, which can connect to the car’s control system and answer a wide range of general or navigation-related questions. The new feature will be introduced to the company’s vehicles in France, the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain on January 31.
The French company plans to permanently introduce ChatGPT to its vehicles’ voice assistant this year.
In addition, Peugeot has announced a new eight-year warranty for the e-3008 electric crossover, up from two years currently. In this way, the automaker aims to encourage more drivers to switch to electric cars.
