The organization also highlighted the need for regional awareness campaigns in regions such as Asia Pacific, where the study noted higher levels of discrimination against people based on their occupation during the Covid pandemic, with 58% of respondents admitting they felt targeted discrimination in this region compared to 17% recorded in Europe.

Globally, healthcare professionals surveyed said they perceive the highest level of discrimination (45%), followed by the media sector (44%) and the transport and logistics sector (42%).
