A Russian bomb hit a hospital in northeastern Ukraine. According to regional authorities, they destroyed windows, equipment and forced the evacuation of dozens of patients.

The head of the Kharkov regional department of the National Police, Vladimir Timoshko, said that at about 21:45 local time in the city, the Bomb went straight to the hospital. Great Burliuk, northeast of Kharkov.

A second bomb also fell nearby.

He wrote on Facebook that 38 people were evacuated from the center, all but five were patients and two were confined to hospital beds.

Regional Governor Oleg Sinegubov said that four people with minor injuries were treated on the spot.

Photos published by Ukrainian emergency services on Telegram show that almost all the windows of the hospital are broken. Outside, the street was littered with rubbish.

The rooms showed damaged equipment and trash scattered everywhere.

There has been no independent verification of the incident, but Russian attacks on targets in the Kharkiv region have become more frequent in recent weeks.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, reported on Telegram that Russian drones hit a target in the city’s infrastructure. There have been no reports of casualties yet. (Reuters).
