Apple invented a new connector similar to Lightning

The cable connecting the Vision Pro battery to the headset for power appears to be locked in place but can be disconnected if necessary. Taking an Apple Vision Pro for testing, journalist Ray Wong used an ordinary SIM tray holder to “unlock” the cable and remove it from the battery pack. There is a small hole next to the cable for this.

The cable that connects the battery to the headset is similar to a Lightning cable but has more contact points. This is a brand new cable that cannot be connected to other accessories or used for other purposes.

The Vision Pro comes with a battery, and additional modules can be purchased for $200 each. Each battery will power the Vision Pro for approximately two to three hours, depending on content. The battery also has a USB-C port that can be used with a USB-C cable to charge the battery.
