Galaxy S24 Ultra has become one of the most popular phones of recent times thanks to its powerful features. Samsung has been offering high-quality displays on its phones for a long time, and with the S24 Ultra, it has also increased the brightness significantly.

While the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a screen brightness of 1750 nits, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a screen brightness of 2600 nits. Additionally, the S24 Ultra comes with a color-enhancing, anti-glare screen protector. These are all significant improvements, but some users claim that the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen is faulty.

Galaxy S24 series screen problems

According to some Reddit users, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen is not bright enough and the colors do not appear as they should. Additionally, this problem is not seen on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it also affects the Galaxy S24 and S24+.

Users state that the screen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is not bright enough and the colors are inaccurate. For example, you may experience color distortion on the home screen or any open app, but the Galaxy S24 Ultra screen works fine when playing videos. This is clearly not a hardware bug and Samsung needs to release an update immediately. Note that this issue only occurs when you enable bright mode in settings.

Forbes revealed that Samsung is working on the issue via a screenshot of an online chat between a user and a Samsung employee. The user also asked when Samsung will fix the issue, but Samsung is unable to provide a specific timeline for the Galaxy S24 Ultra display issue.

They answered: “I understand that you would like to receive the time and date of the upcoming software update, but please we need your patience on this matter. You can be sure that the development team will work on this issue as soon as possible. Please keep your device connected to Wi-Fi for now so that your device’s automatic software update can occur.”
