Check Point Software launches the all-new Infinity platform, powered by AI-driven and cloud-based technology, including an Infinity AI co-pilot.
The life of a CISO in 2024 is no laughing matter. The number of cyberattacks is increasing while fewer and fewer people are encountered. There is a global shortage of four million cybersecurity specialists. Check Point Software aims to (partially) solve this problem with the launch of the Infinity Platform: a security platform with real-time AI-driven threat prevention against all attack vectors.
According to Check Point Software, the addition of AI makes for significantly more effective prevention. The platform delivers cloud-based security intelligence across data centers, networks, endpoints, mobile devices and IoT with an automated threat response system. Real-time threat intelligence from around the world is shared in less than 2 seconds. 99.8 percent of all malware and phishing attempts can be prevented, which of course drastically reduces the chance of a successful attack.
Infinity AI co-pilot
As icing on the security cake, Check Point Software also announces Infinity AI Copilot. This generative AI model is based on 30 years of experience in end-to-end cybersecurity intelligence and serves as an administrative and analytical assistant for your security teams. The copilot integrates seamlessly into the Infinity platform. Infinity AI Copilot helps experts save up to 90 percent of their time analyzing events, implementing policies, and identifying and resolving issues.
The AI-powered security assistant is currently available in preview and is expected to be fully rolled out in the second quarter. Future developments include proactive support and autonomous policy management.
