US company Tesla is recalling 2.2 million cars, or almost all its electric vehicles, in the US because warning light symbols on the dashboard are the wrong size,

“Signal lights with smaller symbols may make it difficult to read important safety information on the instrument panel, increasing the risk of a crash,” the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said.
The agency added that the recall will affect several Tesla models, including the Model S, Model X, 2017-2023 Model 3, Model Y and 2024 Cybertruck.
Tesla is said to have started releasing a free software update to fix the problem.
This update increases the size of the brake and anti-lock brake system (ABS) warning light symbols.
Tesla’s new electric pickup truck, Cybertruck, has started receiving a software update to solve the problem of units in production.
In total, the recall will affect 2.2 million of the company’s electric cars.
