When it happened ChatGPT debuts in late 2022, the OpenAI service was so innovative and surprising that, as you probably remember, it became an absolute revolution. During the end of 2022 and a good part of 2023, the chatbot was a recurring topic of conversation, playing in thousands of headlines and mainly marking a before and after in the perception and relationship of ordinary mortals towards artificial intelligence. This time the AI revolution has begun.
In just over two months, ChatGPT had to compete with itself, but the tech sector has realized the importance that generative artificial intelligence has suddenly acquired and has begun preparing its response. The first big tech companies to make their mark were Google with Bard and Microsoft with Bing about a year ago. You know what followed, the boom that is still going strong.
So now the OpenAI chatbot no longer has the entire playing field. Exactly opposite, they have to face increasingly tough opponents and as a result, you must strive to excel. This means that it is no longer enough to offer a good service as in the beginning, now you need to improve, in as many ways as possible. However, for some time now, ChatGPT seems to be infected with a certain laziness, which many users have already detected.
gpt-4 has been slow to follow through on his new year’s resolutions, but he should be a lot less lazy now!

The good news is that the company has already confirmed the income through the voice of its founder and CEO from the tweet what can you see on these letters and what is better it seems OpenAI has already removed the “laziness” from ChatGPT.. So according to Sam Altman’s report, the chatbot should be back to normal, that is, completing responses and doing so in a timely manner, which is what it didn’t do from late 2023 to early 2024.
There is no explanation, at least for now, about the reasons that caused this degradation of ChatGPT functionality, although since they were able to solve it, we understand that they at least had some clues in this regard. And anyway in my case After seeing Altman’s report, I ran some tests and before writing this news, I can confirm that the current performance of ChatGPT in its free version is what I remembered from previous occasions, i.e. the correct one.
