The American company SpaceX and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration postponed the launch of NASA’s PACE satellite due to bad weather conditions.

This is stated on the American Administration’s blog, Ukrinform reports.

“NASA and SpaceX are canceling the launch of the agency’s Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, Ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission on Tuesday, February 6, due to adverse weather conditions,” NASA said.

It is now stated that NASA and SpaceX plan to launch the PACE satellite from the spaceport in Florida on February 7.

“Both the PACE satellite and the Falcon 9 rocket are operational,” management added.

Space.com states that the satellite will “monitor the health of our planet on an epic scale, from the depths of its vast blue seas to its white clouds.”

“We will examine the combined Earth system; it is not a mission in the ocean, it is not a mission in the atmosphere, it is not a mission on land. It is a mission that brings all of these together. Mission 7 project scientist Jeremy Verdell previously said: “What we will do with PACE is actually the mission at sea, It is a search for the microscopic, mostly invisible universe in the sky and, to some extent, on land.”

As reported by Ukrinform, China plans to launch three spacecraft into lunar orbit in the next six months to establish communications between the Earth and the Moon for their next exploration mission to the Earth’s natural satellite.
