There are currently significant disruptions to the Telenet and Base mobile phone services. The Telenet customer service phone keeps ringing.
Both Telenet and Base are currently experiencing a major disruption. Around 2 p.m. there was a clear peak in the number of reports from users (allestoringen.be). Less than an hour later there were already 2,500 reports. Both Telenet and Base are currently experiencing the same disruption, which makes calling, texting and mobile Internet surfing impossible. The cause is not yet known.

Telenet customer service is busy, very busy. Many customers are experiencing issues with their mobile services and are unable to log in to view usage or pay bills on the Telenet platform. Telenet itself is also struggling with problems, so customer service is unable to handle the volume of complaints.
The only thing Telenet and Base customers can do now is wait for a solution. The problems extend throughout Flanders. A call to customer service is not a solution at the moment because the cause is not yet known. The message is: wait.
